How Payouts Work

Here's the honest, simple version: every cost comes out first, then we split what's left. That way the percentage you see is the percentage you actually get — no surprise deductions later.

Before any split happens, we subtract:

  • •Platform fees (eBay, Poshmark, etc. — about 16%)
  • •Shipping — items $20 and under, the buyer pays shipping directly, so it's not deducted from your payout. Items over $20 ship free to the buyer, so we absorb that cost (a flat $7.50 average) before the split.
  • •Fixed costs — the bag, the thermal label, and the listing work ($1 flat per item)

What's left after all of that is the payout pool — and that's what gets split between us.

Why items under $5 don't get a payout: on a $5 item, platform fees and the $1 fixed cost alone eat almost the entire sale. Rather than send you a payout of a few cents, items under $5 don't generate one. Everything $5 and up follows the normal split below.

Brands that tend to sell fastest

These are heavily searched by name on eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, and Depop — brand recognition drives search traffic straight to the listing, so higher-value items like these have a higher chance of selling faster.

Slower to sell — but we still take them

We take every item — if you want to send these our way, great! Pieces from these brands (and basic or unbranded items) just tend to take longer to sell.
